Our Mission

To breed high quality market wethers for FFA and 4H youth. It is our goal to promote the advancement of the Boer goat breed as it relates to meat production. We strive to make the best crosses possible by utilizing breeding stock from a variety of competitive breeders. We specialize in percentage stock but also maintain a small number of hand selected top quality fullblood does and bucks.

Our History Our insanity began with a trip with Bill Hobby of Boers By Hobby. We were attending a science seminar together at UC Davis. One evening after classes I went along with Bill to check out some does he was considering buying. We went to Joanne Miners place in Lincoln, CA. Together we evaluated the 7 does she had to offer. Afterwards Bill and I were eating our dinner and I asked him which ones he was going to purchase. Bill indicated that he was going to purchase 5 of the 7 does. I asked him why he was not going to buy the remaining does. He responded with that I could purchase them. Since, I had no where to keep them I asked him where I would put them. Bill indicated that I could keep them at his place. Thus, began a long and rewarding relationship with Bill, Sue, Christy, Rebbeca and Nicole Hobby. They are a super family!.
